IHM Christmas Musical 2008 Publicity Video

Hi everybody.. This is the publicity video for the Christmas Musical to be held on the 26th Dec 2008 in the IHM Church Hall. It was first aired at the confirmation camp. Turn up the sound! ^_^

the 1st publicity for chirstmas play on the 29th and 30th Nov was successful, the publicity crew did a good job. they were giving out flyers as well as approaching people to ask them to write down what they want for christmas this year.
after the publicity on the 29th, the people involved in the play went over to Erica's house to have a photo shoot as well some caroling.
During the publicity on the 30th, we were having rehersals for actors. The choir rehersals have also begun and everything is going great, with the piano and guitar to accompany the singing.We have started to practice some of the songs.

This particular TOL session was at Greg's place.. photos were taken during one of the activity called improvisation. It's an activity where a scene is given and we're suppose to act it out and at any point in time anyone can substitute another person's role and continue acting with a different scene.

Well admist the hussel and bussel of the world let us take some time to think about this gospel reading this day.

Lk 19:1-10

At that time Jesus came to Jericho and intended to pass through the town.Now a man there named Zacchaeus,who was a chief tax collector and also a wealthy man, was seeking to see who Jesus was;but he could not see him because of the crowd,for he was short in stature. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore tree in order to see Jesus,who was about to pass that way.When he reached the place, Jesus looked up and said, “Zacchaeus, come down quickly,for today I must stay at your house.” And he came down quickly and received him with joy. When they saw this, they began to grumble, saying, “He has gone to stay at the house of a sinner.” But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord,“Behold, half of my possessions, Lord, I shall give to the poor,and if I have extorted anything from anyoneI shall repay it four times over.”And Jesus said to him,“Today salvation has come to this housebecause this man too is a descendant of Abraham. For the Son of Man has come to seekand to save what was lost.”

Session today was fun ,
We had all our Sec 4s back and also a new member to our youth group Delia
We had publicity crew preparing themselves for the 29th Nov, 1st publicity, they are all excited and i am sure people in the parish would know about the true meaning of Christmas.
We have our actors, some of them falling sick, poor guys please take care of yourself.
Some more new actors came on board.

Time is not on our side but we are making the best out of it
later on we will post up the dates of rehearsal for all

Today we did not have rehearsal
but none the least we had a play by Walk on Waters production
not many people turned up but it sure brought back memories to all Testimony of Light members who had worked together with them.

did not have a debrief but managed to catch up with many of them. I know things are going to get busy for all youths of IHM as Con Camp & Play draws near
But dears just hang in there, draw strength from our Lord above and things would turn out alright.

This month is the time our Sec 4s and testimony of light members took their leave and study break

Would like to wish them all the best and hope they would do well and may the lord keep them safe in his care as he has always been doing, is doing and will be doing .



Retreat was fun and it was the 1st time we slept late together as a group watching movie appreciation & also fun to wake up in the morning with everyone you love & care for by your side. We're a family, no one gets left behind and forgotten.



Hey guys do not forget all of us and also the BIG guy up there.

Todays session a special friend who has been support our youth group came to pay us a visit and indeed many of us were taken by surprise.
but none the least it was a fruitful meeting

Todays Session was an enriching session as we learnt many things from Geraldine.
We were made to think out of the box or even more than we used to.
Its a pity she cannot stayvery long with us for this session but none the least we look forward to the next session with her on the 18th July
